About the Office

New Horizons Medical Spa was established by Dr. Peter Bogdan in 2001 to perform Laser Hair Removal for men and women. The results, using The Lightsheer Diode Laser, were remarkably rewarding and effective, freeing women from the embarrassment of facial hair and allowing them the freedom to freely socialize without concern. For some, it transformed their lives. Its effectiveness was also seen in other areas where there was unwanted hair, such as women’s legs, underarms, arms and hands, as well as men’s backs.

Filling a niche between invasive plastic surgery and over the counter cosmetics

Recognizing the enormous strides in cosmetic dermatological technology, we feel there is a niche between plastic surgical invasive procedures and over the counter skin cosmetics, where new technology can be offered in a safe, effective and affordable manner. With our cautious approach and fastidious attention to detail we can offer skin and body improvement with no down time and minimal discomfort.

New Horizon’s three-step approach educates, treats and rejuvenates

The first step is a free consultation in which procedures are explained and expectations discussed. The second step is the procedures themselves, which can be accompanied by lifestyle and nutritional counseling if so desired. The third step is the use of specifically designed cosmeceuticals at home. These are only available through a physician’s office and are individually selected for each clients skin type and condition. We try our best to keep these products affordable, and provide samples when we can to those who are feeling the pinch.

Our procedures and products cannot smooth out the bumps in life’s road, or relieve sadness or stress. They can however, lift your mood, improve your appearance and improve self confidence.
